July 23, 2004:

Can the other Tillie be saved?

That is the question so many have been asking, yet no one has yet answered. Everyone has a different opinion on the topic, but getting down the the point: No one knows for sure!

One Tillie fan, the owner of the Palace Kid website, which has "served the Palace fans community" for a long time, believes that Tillie can be saved!

Save Tillie managed to remove the left side Tillie off of the Palace Amusements structure last month, the other Tillie was lost to razing...or so it may seem.

The "Palace Kid" has launched a campaign hoping to gather all the pieces of the razed Tillie, and re-assemble them into their former glory!

When asked "What gave him this idea", he replied "My crazy thoughts of the unimaginable yet feasible."

It would be a hard plan, but Corey assures us he has a plan, he would "map the pieces out by number."

Corey "The Palace Kid" is on a mission, to save the memories of childhood for a million people. But who chose him for this mission, well he says "it'll be best for me to do the painting (on Tillie), as I have a  military issue gas-mask!"

We wish Corey luck, he asks that if anyone has a piece of Tillie, please contact him.
